KIWI Brand blades are manufactured in Thailand and are made of stainless steel and hardwood. They are relatively thin blades, leaving them with ease through pretty much anything can cut through. Moreover, they are there to be known long sharp. The blades have a comfortable, ergonomic grip and thereby also a feast for the eyes.
The stainless steel blades are extremely sharp and strong yet light. The hard plastic handle on smaller knives not only feels great, it seems to be aircraft-grade plastic seamlessly molded to the blade for literally decades of use. On the larger knives, the blades are slightly heavier, with hardwood handles and brass rivets.
This stainless steel blade has a slightly rounded blade and a nice pointed end. The pointed end helps get meat cut from around bones. A nice long blade that's relatively light yet very sharp, you can use it to hack just about anything.
